Introduces Cut-to-Length and Blanking Systems

Coe Press Equipment Corporation’s Sesco Products Group offers a new line of sophisticated cut-to-length and blanking systems that can meet escalating production demands with versatility to meet changing manufacturing environments.

SESCO Products Group’s (SPG) shearing and blanking process can give the customer the advantage of creating trapezoidal blanks (reducing scrap) and developed blanks which enables inline coil to finished product savings and greater profits.

Proven designs on SPG shears, oscillating shear dies and shear presses can handle material from 0.008” to 0.250” thick and run at speeds up to 80 strokes per minute at up to a 78” width.

SPG can provide stand-alone oscillating shear dies that can be used in a conventional press, and shear dies that use quick-die-change and staging systems in SPG manufactured hydraulic and mechanical presses.

Popular in-line options include edge trimming (with scrap chopper or re-winder) and edge conditioning capabilities. SPG can handle side-stacking applications or multiple stacking station systems with reject station capabilities that use air and newly-developed magnetic stacking.

In-line washers, using brush or 3M roll configurations to process blanks up to 180” wide and capable of speeds in excess of 300 feet per minute, can be easily integrated to meet blanked-part cleanliness specifications.

End of the line options include bundle turnover units and de-stack, wash and stack units.

Coe Press Equipment Corporation is also focusing the SESCO Products Group on system integration and visual operator interfacing technology using standardized Allen-Bradley-based hardware/software solutions. Advanced motion-control systems, servo-drive controls, variable-speed controls, and man/machine interface designs are used to provide a wide variety of user-friendly and technologically-advanced solutions to the coil-processing marketplace.
