COE Press Equipment offers a number of equipment options that provide cost-effective solutions for cutting coil into blanks. Our popular Oscillating Shear Die can turn a conventional blanking press into a high production trapezoid and parallel shape blanker. The shear blade oscillates up to +45 degrees with each press stroke to produce near net-shaped blanks for optimum material utilization. Also available are heavy-duty Shear Presses in both mechanical and hydraulic models. Mechanical Shear Presses can reach line speeds in excess of 300 FPM and stroke rates of up to 80 SPM while the Hydraulic model presses run at up to 150 FPM and stroke speeds of 30 SPM. All of these come in a variety of styles including Square Cut Shears, Straight Cut Shears, Traveling Shears, Oscillating Shears and Conventional Shears.
