Sesco Products Group has developed a wide range of stacking solutions to meeting a variety of customer applications and project budgets. From simple drop-type stackers, to air-cushion stackers, to fully automated magnetic stackers, we design solutions to meet the exacting needs of a wide variety of customers and markets.
Cost effective drop-type stackers are integrated with our unique "no obstruction" shears to eliminate the need for a runout conveyor and provide good stacking accuracy. The blank is supported in adjustable fingers prior to the shear actuation. The fingers are opened as the shear cycles and the blank is dropped a short distance to the top of the stack. A hydraulic scissor lift table is incorporated to maintain consistent drop height.
Unique air-cushion stackers are often combined with production shears and oscillating shear presses to provide high production stacking capabilities. The air-cushion stacker receives the blank from an exit or runout conveyor. The blank is transported by an interlocked strand belt conveyor system to one of the available stacking stations. An air flotation system is utilized to float the blank from the end of the conveyor. A high velocity air knife and blower system provide a cushion of air that is momentarily trapped between the sideguides to support the blank.
Magnetic stackers combine many technologically advanced features to provide the ultimate combination of flexibility and efficiency. These machines utilize overhead magnetic belt-type conveyors to transport the blanks to the designated stacking station. The blank is released by actuating programmed electromagnets located in the bed of the conveyors. Precise stack edge control is assured by heavy-duty side guides and cushioned type backstops. The stack stations have elevating tables to control the height at which the blank drops to the stack.
Sesco Products Group offers a wide range of options to increase the productivity of any type of stacker. These options include multiple stacking stations, chain type stack transport conveyors, table top rollout conveyors, side guides and backstops with integral "tamping" mechanisms, automatic setting of all guides, telescoping exit conveyors, inspection tables and stations, alternating stack programs, and continuous production run features.
