Coil Strip and Blank Washers
Sesco Products Group offers a line of the Coil Strip and Blank Washers that offer brushless scrubbing of steel and aluminum materials. These machines feature pinch rolls, scrubbing rolls, and squeegee rolls all manufactured from 3M composite materials. The 3M type process rolls have a "self-healing" feature to assure long lasting performance. These machines can be configured directly into the coil processing lines or designed into a sheet destacking and feeding machine.
Sesco Products Group washers are provided with a screw jack mechanism for raising the upper head and accessing the rolls. Interlocked safety pins maintain the head in the "open" position for cleaning or maintenance. All rolls are synchronously driven to assure non-marking of the material as it is cleaned. Internal roller guides are provided between all rolls to prevent jamming of the strip or blanks. The machine control is accomplished with an Allen Bradley SLC PLC. The rolls are driven via an Allen Bradley AC variable frequency drive. The washer is designed with an Allen Bradley Panelview operator interface.
Washers
are available with a wide variety of options based on customer applications.
Many washers are provided with an integrated media type filtration system.
This system continuously circulates the wash solution and filters contaminates
through an indexing paper media. A lateral roll out feature can be provided
for applications that require access for maintenance. The washer is mounted
on a heavy-duty wheel carriage that is powered by a hydraulic drive package.
The operator is provided with a pushbutton pendant for control of the
washer while in motion.
