Hydraulic Oscillating Shear Presses from Sesco Products Group
Sesco Products Group designs and builds a series of "industry unique" shear presses for a variety of coil processing applications. These machines are built to withstand the highest duty requirements. Press bases, side frames, and crowns are manufactured from stress relieved and precision machined weldments. Various drivetrain methods are available to suit the application requirements.
Direct oil feeding and transfer press feeding systems are provided with hydraulic type shear presses. Hydraulically driven shear presses are for applications that don't require high linespeeds. These machines utilize a unique toggle-type mechanism for coil feeding lines that require up to 150 FPM speeds and stroke rates up to 30 SPM.
Sesco Products Group shear presses can be provided with our unique servo-driven oscillating system to provide the capability to produce near net shape blanks. The oscillating shear press is capable of producing trapezoid and parallel cut blanks for optimum material utilization for subsequent stamping operations. A heavy-duty servo drive system and helical ball screw type drive is used to provide +/-30 degree angles to produce right and left hand panels. Other optional features include multiple die storage racks, automatic die changing systems, and powered die clamping systems.
