The line features a ServoMaster Series roll feed with an adjustable height mounting bracket and motorized passline height adjustment; a threading table designed for 23" effective loop length; and a 350 Series power straightener with 15 HP AC variable speed drive controlled by COE's new LoopMaster programmable loop control. Additionally, the system includes COE's unique Alligator" peeler station that enables hands-free threading of the heavy gauge high-strength coil. For improved coil efficiency, COE provided a double-ended coil reel complete with powered hold downs and coil guides.
COE Press Equipment announced that it has shipped a new progressive feed line for processing high strength steel to The Toro Company, a leading worldwide provider of turf maintenance equipment and precision irrigation systems. The new line -- which has a maximum coil width capacity of 24" , coil weight capability up to 6000#, and can handle steel up to .250" thick x 6" wide at 70,000 PSI yield strength -- is in production at Toro's Shakopee, MN facility where machine components, tooled stampings, and metal fabrications are manufactured for assembly at other Toro facilities.
